Boycott Shitty Weed
We teamed up with JM Balbuena and Boycott Shitty Weed to create an ode to those advocates who worked extremely hard for us to exercise our rights to enjoy the benefits of cannabis as a society today, and also to highlight those who contributed to prohibition. For this collection, we used figurative and découpage styles for the heroes to juxtapose the constructivism-inspired villains aesthetic, and illustrate to anyone learning about cannabis history the impact of these key figures on the War on Drugs.

Cannabis and queers have always shared in the fight for respect and inclusivity. The initial push for medical marijuana legalization in the U.S. started in response to the AIDS epidemic.
